My Heritage is a family-based social networking website, which allows you to create your family tree and connect with other members family trees.
For my Social Learner assignment, I have decided to plan a family reunion using My Heritage. I decided to use My Heritage as I found it more user friendly than it's competitors, and has more members which is useful when you want to find all your relatives!
I will be showing you how to use My Heritage in increments, as it has a quite a few steps you have to do before you start planning your reunion.

My Heritage allows you to connect with not only the relatives you are familiar with, but also some that you might not have ever met! Online family tree sites are a great way to reconnect with your family and find out where your families roots are from. Events are not only limited to reunions, but other important days like birthdays, anniversaries, births and deaths. You can even share your family album to those relatives on the other side of the world!
My Heritage even has an app for ipads, iphones or other android phones, so you can access it even if you don't have a computer handy.
